Lunch at a Mano

I was invited to join my good friend Nicole Langille for lunch today at a Mano on the Halifax waterfront.  This sunny September day had a nip in the air so it was a good day for dining inside and taking in the cosy Italian pizzaria atmosphere.  The wood fired, thin crust pizza was fantastic and the service was friendly & professional.

Nicole is the General Manager of downeast destination management, a Halifax DMC, and we’ve worked together on many successful events.  This was a nice break for us both to get out of the office, walk to a nice restaurant and enjoy a good chat!  We recommend a Mano as a great downtown restaurant for lunch or dinner.

Enjoying the Margherita (basil, buffalo mozzarella, tomato sauce) and Vegetariana (artichokes, roasted eggplant, roasted sweet peppers, caramelized onion, basil pesto, ricotta) pizzas, both $13.00 with leftovers for Nicole’s husband’s lunch!

A Mano is located in Bishop’s Landing, a 2 minute walk from the Westin Nova Scotian, along the harbourfront boardwalk or Lower Water Street.
